I am a Brisbane-based Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist with a special interest in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), low FODMAP diets, food intolerances, nutrition for performers and general nutrition myth busting.

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Nutrition & Dietetics from Griffith University, and am currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration at the University of Queensland. I’ve worked in private practice since 2011, all the while gaining experience in a variety of areas of dietetics including hospitals and corporate health. I currently split my time between private practice and the food industry.

An interest in health and nutrition outside of work is an occupational hazard in dietetics, and I am no exception. I love cooking, but I understand that not everyone feels the same way. I try to keep it real in consultations and meet my clients at whatever stage they are at, be it Master Chef or Uber Eats Aficionado. I understand that everyone is different, and cookie cutter meal plans and recommendations simply will not do.

In my spare time I’m a keen aerialist, specialising in aerial tissu (silks). This has given me some very practical experience with the nutrition challenges faced by physical performers and movement artists. You learn a lot about your gut function when you spend all of your free time upside down!
